Quality Technician  ​
MRG, a single source tooling and production manufacturer, who specializes in providing diverse, yet high quality, close tolerance metal working specialties is seeking an experienced Quality Technician. 
​

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Perform inspections of finished products according to well defined criteria (i.e. spec sheets, model files & SOPs) using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
  • Complete first article inspection and documentation as instructed or needed.
  • Efficiently and effectively verifies and ensures quality parts throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Assist with administration of the calibration system to ensure all tools are calibrated.
  • This person will be responsible for final part approval after secondary operations. 
  • Informing managers, supervisors, and/or personnel of inspection results, quality defects.

CNC Machinist

Qualifications:
  • Select, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, and shapers
  •  Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data
  •  Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunction or out-of-tolerance conditions
  •  Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly
  •  Inspect work using standard precision gauges (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
  •  Adjust settings and certify dimensional conformance or assembly alignment
  •  Change “standard” cutting tools and reset machine(s) to proper size ​

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SPECIALISt

This person will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting production equipment and upkeep and repairs of the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of CNC machines (vertical machining centers, lathes, mills), as well as other MRG production equipment (manual equipment, cranes, presses, forklifts, etc.)
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to the facility’s equipment
  • Perform mechanic skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic) troubleshooting and repair of production machines
  • Perform varying duties to install and maintain the facility’s equipment
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of shop equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs as required
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams with efficiency
  • Diagnose malfunctions, using volt meters, alarm messages and other testing devices
  • Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities

General Laborer
MRG has an exciting entry level opportunity as a General Laborer in Faribault.  This position is in a climate-controlled facility and offers valuable manufacturing training plus a weekly paycheck and benefits.

  • Accurately complete quality checks to ensure specific directions are followed

Manufacturing Project Manager

  • Development, tracking, and updating multiple project schedules to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope and budget
  • Coordination with the internal project team (engineering, manufacturing) for the planning and execution of the projects
  • Production planning to include developing, tracking, updating and reporting on the project to key stakeholders 
  • Conducting post project review for future projects
  • Identifying non-conformances issues and work with Quality Department to mitigate

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; i.e., excel, word
  • Detailed, results orientated and motivated by flawless execution and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make decision and excellent multi-tasking capability

Cost Estimator
MRG, a single source tooling and production manufacturer, specializing in providing diverse, high quality, close tolerance metal working solutions is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to help lead our company through its next level of growth.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Provide quotations for key account projects
  • Prepare cost estimates of projects, tools or other equipment requested for bid requests using software and spreadsheets
  • Interact with engineers, purchasing and leads to determine process and cost information in preparation for the proposal
  • Manage the quotations/proposal projects to ensure all supporting documentation is received and all proposals are submitted within the specified guidelines
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, general fabrication, dies and fixtures
  • Develop an understanding of customer specs and requirements
  • Acquire a sense of MRG Tool and Die capabilities 
  • Obtain knowledge of outsides processes

COMPENTENCIES: 
  • Ability to read and interpret bid documents, specifications and drawings
  • Previous work experience monitoring and controlling bids and quotes
