We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers. The CAD Drafter will play a crucial role in transforming concepts into precise designs that meet project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software.
- Must be detailed orientated with a mechanical aptitude.
- Collaborate internally and externally to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Understand and apply Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles.
- Create 2D and 3D models using software such as SolidWorks.
- Modify existing drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.
- Ability to generate professional quality plans that are accurate and consistent with established standards.
- Maintain organized documentation of all drafts, revisions, and project files.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks is essential.
- Experience with creating schematics and technical drawings in various formats.
- Previous experience in a drafting or engineering role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

CNC Machinist

MRG is currently looking for a talented CNC Machinist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Select, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material on machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, and shapers
- Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data
- Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunction or out-of-tolerance conditions
- Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly
- Inspect work using standard precision gauges (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
- Adjust settings and certify dimensional conformance or assembly alignment
- Change “standard” cutting tools and reset machine(s) to proper size
COMPENTENCIES:
- Prefer at least 5 years of experience working in a machining environment with large envelope CNC machines and bridge mills
- Proficient with Mastercam
- Strong with GD&T
- Experience with AS9100 is a plus

Tool maker
MRG Tool and Die is looking for an experienced Tool Maker who enjoys working in a clean, climate-controlled environment. - The Tool Maker is responsible for building, repairing and maintaining production/prototype tooling
- Works from blueprints to create or modify prototypes, tools and dies
- Machine parts to support the company's production equipment and or machine build projects
- Surface grind to required tolerances
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and determines best solutions
- Work closely with others to ensure best practices are used during the build and qualification of all tooling
- Identify fixturing, gaging, and tooling needs for toolroom and production needs
- Set up and operate CNC/conversational CNC and Manual Toolroom Equipment to produce high quality precise tooling components and other piece parts
- Ensure revision levels of paperwork and tooling components are current
- Ability to move between projects on short notice
- Die making background a plus but not required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate with a 2-year degree from an accredited institution OR equivalent knowledge from a comparable industry
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good ability to identify different materials and their relationship to design (form, fit, and function)
- Strong math skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use measuring tools
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
- Basic GD&T experience
- Basic set of measuring tools, hand tools, caliper/micrometers
PUNCH PRESS OPERATOR

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Under minimal supervision, set up and operate punch press machinery to manufacture parts.
- Candidates having experience with setting up and operating Stamping Presses with Progressive Dies, Stage Dies, and Coil Feed Lines is preferred.
- Performing complex set ups with little supervision.
- Determining layout of work to be done.
- Inspecting work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors.
- Knowledge of using proper punch and die clearances according to material type and thickness.

- Development, tracking, and updating multiple project schedules to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
- Coordination with the internal project team (engineering, manufacturing) for the planning and execution of the projects
- Production planning to include developing, tracking, updating, and reporting on the project to key stakeholders
- Conducting post project review for future projects
- Knowledge of assembly procedures and processes
- Develop an understanding of customer specs and requirements
- Manage inventory and ensure parts are ordered timely to ensure on time delivery
- Prepare parts for shipping confirming all required paperwork has been obtained and quality standards have been met and signed off
COMPENTENCIES:
- High school diploma required
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of related work experience
- Technical knowledge and ability in the manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e., excel, word
