Work Study Programs

MRG Tool and Die proudly supports young professional career development. We offer several different programs to best suit the needs of every interested individual. Below are our current offerings:

Dual Training Program
Dual Training is a partnership between MRG Tool and Die and the State of Minnesota/Office of Higher Education. The program is designed to offer students enrolled in a Tool Technology program the opportunity to work, while additionally building skills at a manufacturer that services industries throughout the country (including aerospace, automotive, and many more). 

Pay and Benefits
  • Pay begins at $18 per hour
  • Prescription safety glasses reimbursement
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Become a full-time team member at MRG Tool and Die upon graduation

What are the hours?​
  • Hours are flexible to fit your unique schedule
  • Ability to work part-time during school
  • Full-time hours available during the summer if desired

Tuition Reimbursement​
When working part-time at MRG, while going to post-secondary school in a Tool Technology program, and receive tuition and book reimbursement.

Youth Skills Training Program
The Youth Skills Training Program is a partnership between MRG Tool and Die and the Faribault Public Schools. The program is designed to offer students 16 to 17 years of age the opportunity to work, while additionally building skills at a manufacturer that services industries throughout the country (including aerospace, automotive, and many more). 

Pay and Benefits
  • Pay begins at $18 per hour
  • Prescription safety glasses reimbursement
  • ​Become a full-time team member of MRG Tool and Die at age 18

What are the hours?
  • Hours are flexible to fit your unique schedule
  • Ability to work part-time during school
  • Most students begin at 1:00 PM or 3:00PM
  • Full-time hours available during the summer if desired
