Primary Purpose:
The purpose of the Human Resources Manager is to ensure workforce alignment with company mission, vision and strategic objectives, as well as coordinate all aspects of the company’s performance management system.
Hours/Travel:
40 to 45 hours per week; travel as needed.

Key Accountabilities:
- Strategic Alignment: As part of the Strategic Management Team, to effectively collaborate in developing, implementing, and measuring the strategic objectives necessary to achieve MRG’s Mission, Vision and Owner goals.
- Accountable for an effective system appropriate to company size, culture, and the organization goals.
- Accountable for collaborating with private and public partners to establish partnerships to support the strategic objectives.
- Accountable for collaborating with the Strategic Management Team to develop, implement and measure strategic objectives that support the vision of the organization.
- Recruiting, Hiring & Onboarding: Responsible for working with Managers/Supervisors to effectively define/benchmark, source, select, hire, and onboard Team Members who are aligned with the company culture and the role.
- Accountable for proactively developing and maintaining relevant candidate sources.
- Accountable for working with department managers/supervisors to develop relevant and aligned job descriptions and benchmarks.
- Accountable for facilitating behavior-based interviews and support managers in making effective hiring decisions.
- Accountable for conducting background checks, reference checks, and assist managers in negotiations.
- Accountable for maintaining agency worker relationships, procurement, and measurement of results.
- Accountable for working with Managers/Supervisors to effectively orientate and on-board new team members into the organization.
- Leadership Feedback, Development & Training: Responsible for working with Managers/Supervisors to ensure the continuous leadership development & training.
- Accountable for working with Managers/Supervisors to ensure regular on-going feedback between Team Members and supervisors/managers through administering feedback processes: performance reviews, 360s, and one-on-one coaching.
- Accountable for working with Managers/Supervisors to ensure that the organization has the right capabilities & skills to meet its strategic objectives through skill development, professional development plans, mentorship, & leadership development programs.
- Accountable for working with Managers/Supervisors to ensure that there are various touchpoints of regular and effective communication throughout the organization.
- Individual Leadership Development: Responsible for continuously developing leadership and HR related skills and abilities.
- Accountable for learning, understanding, and staying current on high performance, highly engaged workplace culture and the appropriate key systems/process/policies.
- Accountable for continuously developing leadership & supervisor skills, as needed.
- Accountable for fostering a continuous improvement mindset throughout MRG.
- Employee Engagement: Responsible for coordinating strategically aligned activities that will identify, promote & measure greater levels of engagement throughout the company.
- Accountable for working with Managers/Supervisor to measure, improve, and ensure high levels of employee engagement.
- Accountable for ensuring a high level of employee relations by serving as a resource for employee related concerns and being a safe and objective place for employees to bring concerns.
- Accountable for effectively partnering with Managers/Supervisors to resolve conflict situations.
- Accountable for conducting regular workforce activities, focused on fostering higher levels of engagement, such as team member events and other collaborative opportunities.
- Compensation, Benefits, & HR Compliance: Responsible for effectively coordinating aligned compensation and workforce benefits and coordinating HR compliance within all performance management activities.
- Accountable for working with Managers/Supervisors to effectively align compensation to the role, motivators, and strategic objectives.
- Accountable for researching and ensuring that compensation and benefits are in alignment with the market.
- Accountable for administering health and welfare plans including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
- Accountable for conducting audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Accountable for ensuring successful administration of and compliance with employee hiring, disciplinary action and terminations, FMLA, workman’s compensation, unemployment, and company policy.
- Accountable for complying with HR policies and practices, maintaining confidentiality, and working with Managers/Supervisors to ensure compliance.

Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years HR generalist experience.
- 4 year degree with a business or HR related major – Preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must have a high level of professionalism and have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Exceptional organizational skills; must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and provide excellent follow-up with all involved.
- Strong people skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly with others.
- Ability to excel in a fast paced environment, manage multiple tasks, priorities, and projects.
- Must be a collaborative team player.
- Must be able to display a proven focus on continuous improvement in the workplace.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
