Job Requirements:
- Perform inspections of finished products according to well defined criteria (i.e. spec sheets, artwork files & SOPs) using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing
- Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
- Adhere to the SOPs for the inspection function(s)
- Quality Inspection Focus: Efficiently and effectively verifies and ensures quality parts throughout the manufacturing process.
- This person will be responsible for ensuring the quality of parts throughout various stages in the manufacturing process.
- This person will be responsible for final part approval after secondary operations.
- This person will be responsible for receiving certified raw materials that arrive in our shop.
- Informing managers, coordinators, and/or line personnel of inspection results, quality defects
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and specifications
- Must be able to use hand measurement equipment, Such as: calipers micrometers and dial indicators
For valid consideration, candidates must have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
- 1+ years of direct or related work experience in quality control, quality assurance or manufacturing.
- An understanding of machining and/or manufacturing related work
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Follow procedures, policies, and instructions
